'Father of Monkey Daughters' is something bizarre to hear. But
the fact is people are different from each other in many areas. One of these
areas is passion. Everyone has his/her own passion or love for something
different from some others.
We see people do job, business or some other type of works as
profession for their survival and maintaining families. But in addition many
people will be found having passion for gardening, writing, traveling etc. Of
course passion turns in to profession for some people sometime.
While in Bandarban, one of Hill District towns in Bangladesh, a
few weeks ago I met a middle aged woman in a restaurant under the Hilton Hotel.
She was a lecturer of general history in a nongovernment degree college. But
her passion is traveling to different places to enjoy the beauty of nature, see
the people of different tribes, culture and language. She likes traveling so
much that she left her teaching profession several years ago. Now she is a
successful blogger. She does blogging for earning wherever she travels. This is
really interesting and I was lucky enough to meet and have a little chat with
that highly educated fair lady.
Passion is a kind of power that drives everyone irrespective of
education, profession or religions the proof of it we find even in the street.
The other day on my way to bank I found a man with two monkeys.
As the time was noon and hot in scorching sun he let those monkey have a rest
under shadow of little wayside tree.
The onlookers were so excited that one of them told the man, '
let your monkeys play whatever they know and we would pay.' But the man
replied saying, ' No, I would not let them play anymore today. They hungry and
tired. I would take them to home, feed and rest'.
The man also told in reply to another query from someone, ' They
are my daughters' and started heading forwards.
Monkeys are innocent and beautiful animals. Like many other
countries of the world this animal is also available in our country,
Bangladesh. But their availability is only in few particular places. This is
why when we come across this animal we make fun and enjoy merriment they
make.
But do we have passion or love for them?
I can say in true sense most of us should say no.
But this man ...
Without thinking anymore I started heading towards the bank.
