In the shadow of nature

Bangladesh is identified as a poor country by the other countries of the world.

This was true and still true though the country has achieved a lot of development in a number of sectors.

But one thing which was true in the long past and true to date. That true is rich nature.

Bangladesh is very rich in its nature.

If someone wants to enjoy the rich nature should do a little thing that is to leave behind the amenities of city life and go to countryside or rural areas.

I know a number of foreign people who had good luck to visit some of rural areas. I got to know later when I talked to them that they were charmed with the richness and beauty of nature.

This Bangla Bazar, a naturally  very rich area in Gazipur district. This is not far away from the capital city Dhaka and town of Gazipur district. But still it can be considered as countryside or rural area.

Here is a big center where more than thousands of people can gather for different purposes like meeting, discussion, seminar, symposium or training.

Considering location it can be said that the center is in shadow of nature.

Right now more than five hundred people from different places of the country gathered here for a special program.

The host organization brought some heavy weighted teachers and scholars to teach all these men, women, boys and girls.

Rima Sangma is one of them. She is from Mymensingh town where she lives permanently with her parents and studies in a h college. h

She told to reply to a query that all like food, teachings, teachers, stay are alright. But the better thing is its nature.

By saying she in fact proved once again that Bangladesh is at least rich in nature.

Strength of Songs

AUDIENCE
Now-a-days we can hear a variety of songs from different medias.

The artists present songs with their utmost emotion, gestures and heart.

Songs have a kind of power which is produced when a song is presented right way.

If I tell something from my own experience I would say that a type of feeling generates in mind that changes direction of my thinking from pessimism to optimism, discouragement to encouragement.

In many live concerts I saw the audience becoming so powerful that they started dancing, singing or shouting forgetting age, situation and association.

Presence of large number of audience in any concert is itself a proof of songs having attraction.

Being attracted many young boys, sometimes even girls are seen carrying violin, guitar or other type of musical instruments.

However, I was not skeptical about power of Christian songs as I have a lot of experiences of having heard of many  Christian songs but it was beyond my imagination before having seen or heard the song in video that so many people can be so revived and put their faith in Jesus only being powered by a song

A Pastor aspiring to be involved in politics

Politics is a means to serve the people. This is the beauty of politics.

Those who do politics are called politicians.

What all these politicians exhibit through their actions and activities is not the beauty of politics but covetousness for own interest.

In practical perspective politicians all over the world go to power by resorting unfair means and after going to power they started misusing state power vested by general people to gain own interest.

Probably there is not even a single thing that a politician can not do for his/her gain.

On the other hand a Pastor is a pious man who follows footsteps of Jesus in every step of his own. Jesus is his/her goal, His teaching is his/her knowledge, His words the Holy Bible is the complete code of his/her life. Reflecting Jesus' qualities throughout life is his/her ultimate moto. What he/she can do is to love all even enemies sacrificing life.

Doing politics is not the job suitable for any honest person let alone pastors.

But still some pastors hope to involve themselves with politics.

Why?

Answer has come out through some words spoken by a certain pastor.

When beauty is ugly

In every description the world must considered as something beautiful.
As human beings we need many things for comfort and survival.
To achieve what we need we do whatever necessary, we go wherever we should go. Many people go to the other part of the country leaving behind his/her family, friends, relatives and near and dear ones. Even people go out of country for demand of life or to achieve what the need. They sacrifice a lot. But still all are not always lucky to achieve all that they need.
In this judgment the world is not so generous, its hand of generosity is short.
But in a special and particular case the world is always generous and that case is its beauty.
The world is always generous to show its impeccable beauty for everybody everywhere.
Al of its land, sky, rivers, forests, hills, mountains, sea, ocean are of matchless beauty.
No one is barred from enjoying its beauty.
As lover of beauty people travel hundreds and thousands of miles only to come to the warm hugs of beauty.
But sometimes we see with great pain that something happens when the beauty becomes ugly.
For an example take Cox's Bazar, the beautiful sea beach in Bangladesh which is the longest one in the world.

A large number of people from home and abroad throng there everyday.
Be alert keep eyes open you will hear, you will see at least few of them wash away or drown to death.
Are they themselves not responsible for such kinds of unwanted incidents?
They are in a sense.
In enjoying the beauty sometimes they forget to be careful about warning issued instantly based on situation of weather and tide.

Experience On the Way

Writer
What I do or should do everyday is to walk for 30-60 minutes.
To do so I walk all the way to my office which 45-50 minutes. Today is weekend. No office, no walk over there.
But for my health sake I must go out and have a walk for at least 30 minutes. I went out and walked up to Station Road right to the east of Tongi Biswa Ijtema Ground.
It was a hot summer day. I got perspired and was feeling uneasiness. I thought to stop walking and have a rest.
I stood under a roof of tea stall near the footwear over bridge there. I looked at the intersection, the turning point of south, north, north-west and north-east.
A hundreds of vehicles were running away from every side. The same number of people were standing, waiting, moving here and there.
I stayed or about 10 minutes and all this time I did not take back my eyes.
I was looking and looking.
Probably my constant look turned into observation sometime later though I could not say when.
In my observation or my observation helped me to bring out some of truths related to life.
 AIM: No one without aim.
Aim is most important in anyone's life. Aim is a kind of design. No one can build up his/her life without design. This is why everyone should set an aim.
One more important thing is making effort to reach the aim. Aim can be considered as destination. We should remember that the distance of destination may be short sometimes but long and very long most of the time. Whatever it is short or long we ourselves should go there and going means coming out of home, leaving behind family company and comfort.
In another sense it can be said this way that we should carry out our responsibility, we should do our works.
All those people were doing the same which was really fantastic to see.
 PREFERENCE
What we give preference to is important. There are a lot of things related to life. But  all do not carry the same importance. So we should give preference to the thing which is more important. But in this case we many do mistake.
We all know life is the most valuable thing. But if we take the matter from practical perspective we see most of us like to give preference to achieve aim forgetting or ignoring value and importance of life. In doing so people do anything without considering whether it is legal or illegal, logical or illogical, ethical or unethical.
Let me remember and remind you all that every action has its reaction.
What are the results people receive by doing all these illegal, illogical or unethical things?
May be not directly but indirectly people destroy their own lives by not allowing it to bear its fruits.

Opportunity is like a Bird

In the surface of earth which is too vast to even imagine and in the unfathomable depth of sea or ocean hundreds and thousands of happenings are taking place every moment. Unfortunately a very few number of all these happenings we can know, we can see or we can hear.

About a year ago a news surfaced in different social medias especially Facebook and the gist of the news was a young girl came to Bangladesh as tourist probably either from Germany or Netherlands and fell in love with a young Bangladeshi poor rickshaw puller. Being in love for sometimes they got married. Through the marriage life of that poor rickshaw puller completely changed and probably he has already left the country and now is leading a luxurious life in his wife's country.
Again we may hear now and then of someone becoming billionaire merely by doing farming or gardening or a small business. Even in practice we see many people going out of imagination have become first class gazetted government officers. This is also not the story generated from imagination that many became celebrities coming from villages or remote areas.
If we think for sometime going a bit deeper into all these things it will appear before our eyes that opportunity as if came down over them like birds. Still their effort to stick to achieving goal can not be ignored.
Birds fly in the sky but come down over trees, not over all trees of the forest but over some trees.
Opportunity is like birds and the fact is it will not come down over all. But I wish and want let the opportunity come down especially over street children of the world.
WONDERFUL IMITATING A NICE SONG BY THE STRET CHILDREN OF BOGRA

Father of Monkey Daughters

'Father of Monkey Daughters' is something bizarre to hear. But the fact is people are different from each other in many areas. One of these areas is passion. Everyone has his/her own passion or love for something different from some others.

We see people do job, business or some other type of works as profession for their survival and maintaining families. But in addition many people will be found having passion for gardening, writing, traveling etc. Of course passion turns in to profession for some people sometime.

While in Bandarban, one of Hill District towns in Bangladesh, a few weeks ago I met a middle aged woman in a restaurant under the Hilton Hotel. She was a lecturer of general history in a nongovernment degree college. But her passion is traveling to different places to enjoy the beauty of nature, see the people of different tribes, culture and language. She likes traveling so much that she left her teaching profession several years ago. Now she is a successful blogger. She does blogging for earning wherever she travels. This is really interesting and I was lucky enough to meet and have a little chat with that highly educated fair lady.

Passion is a kind of power that drives everyone irrespective of education, profession or religions the proof of it we find even in the street.

The other day on my way to bank I found a man with two monkeys. As the time was noon and hot in scorching sun he let those monkey have a rest under shadow of little wayside tree.

The onlookers were so excited that one of them told the man, ' let your monkeys play whatever they know and we would pay.'  But the man replied saying, ' No, I would not let them play anymore today. They hungry and tired. I would take them to home, feed and rest'.

The man also told in reply to another query from someone, ' They are my daughters' and started heading forwards.

Monkeys are innocent and beautiful animals. Like many other countries of the world this animal is also available in our country, Bangladesh. But their availability is only in few particular places. This is why when we come across this animal we make fun and enjoy merriment they make.

But do we have passion or love for them?

I can say in true sense most of us should say no.

But this man ...

Without thinking anymore I started heading towards the bank.
